The 2007-08 First League was the 105th edition of the First League. This edition was won by FC Newcastle, who were promoted to the Premier League along with runners-up the Otan City Reds. The Port Ukany Rockets and Southwood FC, which finished 11th and 12th respectively, entered the First League-Second League promotion play-offs; both teams were relegated to the Second League and replaced by FC Port Tuvalu and Padton FC.
